Kitten Fostering
Every year the kitten population on the base and housing areas skyrockets in the spring! If these stray cats were left to live on their own they would be subject to diseases and viruses, and without being spayed and neutered the population issue would never be contained. PAWS volunteer foster parents take these kittens as early as 1 to 3 days old and care for them every two hours feeding and caring for their every need.
If you have found kittens please email or call us. We will evaluate the kitten or litter upon sight.

Interested in becoming a Kitten Mom for PAWS?
Paws is ALWAYS looking for new kitten mom’s. Being a kitten mom can be a tiring, stressful, wonderful, amazing, and rewarding job! Kittens are given to the mom’s anywhere between 1 day and 12 weeks. Between 1 day and 4 weeks of age the kittens are bottle fed every two to three hours and will become just like your children, stealing your heart and tiring you out!

Paws provides all milk, bottles, bedding supplies, and medical needs for the kittens, as well as food and litter when they begin to wean. All you are responsible is for their care, love, and development. After the kittens have received their second shots at 12 weeks they will then enter the shelter and go up for adoption.

PAWS holds several kitten foster mom classes a year, so please contact us if you are interested in becoming an angel for these little dolls! Please email usskittytalk.yokosuka@gmail.com if you are interested!
