About PAWS

PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) is a No-Kill Animal Shelter operating on base in Yokosuka. Our mission is to help save stray and unwanted animals by providing them with shelter, care and love until we find them suitable and loving homes. PAWS accepts cats and dogs. We are not able to care for smaller or exotic animals..

We have lots of kennels and litter pans leftover from the fundraiser. These are still up for sale, and the prices are great! $2 for a small litter pan, $20 for regular cat carriers and $50 for a medium sized dog crate. Get a travel carrier for your pet while they’re available!

August 26th we are having an adoptathon from 12 – 5! BIG DISCOUNTS~

Friendship Day is this Saturday, the 7th. We can use any help you are willing to offer. We’ll be at the booth from 10am – 730pm! WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! THANKS TO OUR GRILL MASTER, BUN MASTER, RIB MASTERS AND ORDER MASTERS! We had the longest line in the whole place for a while there. Until we sold out of food. Haha!

We are having another burger burn this coming Saturday, 31 July. We’ll be out from 2000 – 0200, so if you want to stop by, we’d love to see you out there!
